As an introductory CAD modelling project during my first year of Industrial Design, this task focused on developing foundational skills in Fusion 360 through the recreation of an existing object of my choice. The aim was to model the object as accurately and realistically as possible, requiring close attention to proportion, dimension, surface detail, and assembly. Through carefully analysing the physical form and translating it into a precise digital model, I gained an early understanding of technical accuracy, three-dimensional thinking, and the importance of detail within digital design. This project marked my first experience using Fusion 360 and established the core CAD skills that have continued to support my later design work.
